Mission of Sui Generis

To embody the principles of Xenn Polarity, specifically, to support the efforts to fulfill the complementary needs of being true to ourselves and of being part of a community.

To teach others firstly and primarily by how we live, and secondarily by word of mouth, what is Xenn Polarity, how it is related to my life and the life of others, and how to put into practice principles such as the following:

• to be true to who we truly are or are called to be.
• to integrate individuality and community.
• to respect the "otherness" of another (i.e. respect their differences).
• to discern between "different differences", for example between true uniqueness and uniqueness for its own sake, or between authenticity and "hype" or "show".
• to question "given" forms of reality or actuality, and to avoid or eliminate what is illusory or degraded, whether in my life or that of others.
• to welcome and practice complementarity and paradox in our lives, for example the ability to see that lightness is a serious matter, and to engage lightly in serious activities.
• to live out our lives with, and encourage and promote, a sense of joy, humor, and play.
