![]() "What all persons have in common is their uniqueness." -- Sam Keen & Anne Valley Fox, Telling Your Story
Sui Generis is a Latin term, meaning "of its own kind", i.e. unique and individual, in its own class. This describes well the goal of Sui Generis, which is to provide the foundation on which a community can be built that will respect and promote the uniqueness and individuality of each person, and empower them to grow into who they are truly called to be. It will do this not at the expense of the integrity of the community, but in such a way as to create cooperation and cohesiveness. Such a community will in turn be a light to society at large, which will be encouraged to embody the same framework of understanding and dynamics. Sui Generis is based in part on the understanding and application of Xenn Polarity, a new and comprehensive cognitive framework that introduces the possibility of reconciling unity and diversity, so that "self" and "others" can co-exist in ways that are mutually beneficial.
