![]() "What all persons have in common is their uniqueness." -- Sam Keen & Anne Valley Fox, Telling Your Story
Sui Generis is a Latin term, meaning "of its own kind", i.e. unique and individual, in its own class. This describes well the goal of Sui Generis, which is to lay the foundation for the establishment of a community that respects and promotes the uniqueness and individuality of each person, and empower them to grow into who they are truly called to be. It is able to do this not at the expense of the integrity of the community, but in such a way as to create cooperation and cohesiveness. This community can in turn provide a model for the transformation of society at large, encouraging it to embody the same principles, practices, and values. Sui Generis is based in part on the understanding and application of Xenn Polarity, a new and comprehensive cognitive framework that introduces the possibility of reconciling unity and diversity, so that "self" and "others" can co-exist in ways that are mutually beneficial.
